1. Dalaguete Beach Park

Dalaguete may have Cebu’s highest peak but it also have an abundance of nice beaches that can cater to both day and overnight use. For day use, you can head on to Dalaguete’s public beach park for an entrance fee of P15-P20 per person. The beach is government owned so it is best to observe rules and regulations when you go there.

Definitely a sight to behold, getting to Hidden Beach is a little tricky but once you see it, all the effort will be worth it. The mocha-colored sandy beach has rental cottages for about P500 which can be used for overnight stay. To get to the beach, find a bus bound for Pinamungajan, take a jeepney to Aloguinsan, then find a habal-habal driver to drop you off at the grassy path leading to the beach.

One of the best inexpensive beach resorts in Cebu, Tingko Beach takes pride in its fine white sand. Visitors can enjoy the beach for only P100 per person and avail of cottages with prices that range from P200 onwards. There are also shower rooms for P10 and parking fee for vehicles.

Mactan has finer and whiter sand compared to other places in the metro which is why a lot of big resorts decided to open in the island. Badian’s Lambug beach is a little hidden but it has become so popular that going there wouldn’t be a big problem. Since the beach has free entrance, you cannot expect that it has a lot of facilities.
